We are Dawid & Kasia, a married couple and directors duo working together for 20 years at the intersection of film and interactivity. We jumped into making interactive films way before YouTube was a thing. Soon we called our approach Cinematic Labyrinths.
We experimented with all kinds of interactive storytelling. From online non-linear narratives to interactive films, transmedia, cinematic VR projects, and beyond. We won four Webby Awards and hit major festivals. We give lectures and workshops on interactive storytelling and help people to craft their stories.
We titled our recent lectures at NYU Tisch and Emerson LA Cinematic Labyrinths: Interactive Storytelling From Flash to Unreal. This is our arc—from pioneers of interactive web-based film to video game creators.
We're currently working on film and game projects. We've teamed up with the oldest and youngest talents to blur the line between cinema and video games.
